Equipment description Outfit for producing basalt thin fiber is meant for receiving staple basalt thin fiber made of melt rocks using method of vertical bulge with compressed air. Process description Feedstock for the basalt heat-insulating fiber production is basalt crumb with the fraction size – 40-70 mm. Through the machine food crumb comes to the melting furnace and melts at the temperature t= 1400-1500°Ñ.
Formed streams of the melt come to the blowers, where they are blown with the compressed air into thin staple fibers.
The final product is thin basalt fiber.
Headcount The machinery is operated by 2 engineers per shift. The working hours of the furnace – round the clock, use standard – 350 days a year. Every shift except operator there should be service engineer and mechanic. Engineer and mechanic operate couple of outfits united into one production section. Serviceability Serviceability of the equipment till substitution of the refractory material is 3 months. Substitution of the high-wear details and component units is performed without substantial spending of time and costs. Production Time Production time of the outfit: 2 - 2,5 months. Installation, pre-commissioning: 1 month. |
